Bristol Academy Centre of Excellence…Let the Journey begin!

***BRISTOL ACADEMY GIRL’S CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE TRIALS***

This season has seen a major change in the structure of the Girls Centre of Excellence, as Bristol Academy is now the recognised Regional Development Centre for talented young players in the Bristol area.

Filton College hosts Bristol Academy Girls Centre of Excellence for Under 10, 12, 14, & 16 year olds and having these talented young players training at our facility also allows us to identify some of the best young female players in the area. It also gives them the perfect stepping stone to develop from youth football, through to college at Filton and right through to senior level football in the premier league with the Bristol Academy Women’s Team.

The players within the Centre of Excellence structure train twice during the week and play their fixtures on Saturdays throughout the season and are in the perfect place to develop and be nurtured for the next level.

Trials for the Centre of Excellence are held twice a year, during the summer months and during the winter (December) and as it’s a centre of excellence, players must be committed to improving their own game if they are to remain in the centre for the season.
