A second half wonder strike from Jemma Rose gave the Vixens a well deserved three points against Doncaster Rovers Belles at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Doncaster?s Precious Hamilton had the first shot of the game which forced a fine save from Siobhan Chamberlain diving low to her right.
Lillie Billson came close after she out-muscled Rhonda Jones on the edge of the area but her shot was saved by Belles keeper Mary Earps.
Grace McCatty gave the vixens the lead after 18 minutes when Katie Daley broke up Doncaster?s build up play and setting McCatty to strike from 25 yards which found the top right hand corner.
Six minutes later the vixens should have been further ahead after Billson put through Jess Fishlock who put her effort just wide.
Anie O?Gorman again tested Chamberlain who was equal to the shot before levelling after 32 minutes before Rhonda Jones deep cross found O?Gorman who chested down to fire home off the underside of the bar.
Bristol started the stronger team of the second half and 52 minutes into the game an unstoppable free kick from Jemma Rose gave Bristol the victory.
