As part of the FA re-structure of the Centre of Excellence programme, Bristol Academy Women's Football Club will run an Under 9's development squad starting in September and running for the whole season.
The aim is to provide talented and enthusiastic Under 9 players born Jan - Dec 2003 with qualified coaching in fantastic facilities under the BAWFC banner.
PLEASE NOTE all players will only TRAIN with the squad and WILL still play and train for their local grass roots club. The development centre WILL NOT play games. We hope through the structured training that the players will undergo and the environment they will experience will have a great benefit on their performance and improve them under the FA 4 corner model.
The trials will take place on Tuesday 6th September at the WISE campus of Filton College home of the Vixens.
Registration will be from 5pm with the trials starting at 5.30pm on an indoor rubber crumb surface.
Training nights will typically be on a Wednesday from 5.30-6.30pm. With all training costs covered through the FA's grant. A small training kit bundle will be available for purchase once the players are selected.
If you know of anyone who might be interested in being a part of the development squad please inform them and we ask they submit the required info by clicking HERE
