UEFA Womens Champions League Football is coming to Ashton Gate after Bristol City Football Club confirmed it has agreed to host Bristol Academy WFCs round of 32 European tie versus FC Energiya Voronezh.
The first leg tie will be played at Ashton Gate on Thursday 29th September (Kick Off 7.30pm) with the return in Russia on Wednesday 5th October (7pm).
Tickets for the game will be priced at £5 for adults and £1 concessions in advance and are on sale now online, by phone 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) or in person at the Bristol City ticket office at Ashton Gate.
Bristol Academy qualified for the UEFA Women’s Champions League by reaching the FA Cup final in May, where they narrowly lost out to Arsenal by two goals to nil at Coventry City’s Ricoh Arena.
Mark Sampon’s side have since been paired with Russian top flight club Energiya Voronezh in the round of 32 draw, knowing they could meet FC Twente of Holland or another Russian side FC Rossiyanka in the next round should they progress.
Prices will rise on the day of the game to £6 (adults) and £4 (concessions).
Students and staff of Filton College can get their tickets for £3 and these will be available from the WISE Campus.
