Continental Shot Stoppers

The FA brings the Continental Shot Stoppers Road Show to Bristol.

As part of its ongoing support for the new FA Women’s Super League Teams (FAWSL), Continental Tyre Group – together with The FA, will be bringing a new interactive Road Show ‘The Continental Shot Stoppers’ to selective WSL matches this summer.

Aimed at girls between the age of eight and 16, Continental Shot Stoppers is a nationwide Road Show developed by Continental and The FA. The programme encourages football participation and, more specifically, shows the different skills and abilities needed for goal keeping.

The programme is developed by Keith Rees, Senior Women’s Goalkeeping Coach at The FA, and it’s a fun, safe, and youthful series of interactive coaching sessions and activities. There will be six core coaching zones, supported by four interactive areas testing a variety of skills including speed, reaction, accuracy and reflex. 

As well as unique coaching, the Road Show will include competitions, prizes, goodies and giveaways alongside personal appearances from some of the Women’s game’s leading players, photo opportunities and tickets to upcoming fixtures.
