Swindon Supermarine are the latest club to give their backing to Bristol Academy WFC ahead of their Champions League debut at Ashton Gate on Thursday evening.
Steve Moore, Life President at the Southern Premier League club has personally sponsored the game and has stated the Wiltshire club’s support for the Vixens.
Moore said “Swindon Supermarine are very proud of Bristol Academy’s achievements and wish them all the best on Thursday night. A group of us will be coming down to cheer on the girls. Having Champions League football here is great for the whole area and I really hope everyone in the region pulls together to support it by turning up on the night”.
Swindon Supermarine were formed in 1992 and play in the Southern League Premier Division, one tier below the Conference South. Meanwhile Bristol Academy’s opponents FC Energiya Voronezh arrived in Bristol yesterday (Tuesday) and are due to train at Ashton Gate today (Wednesday). The game itself will kick-off at 7:30pm on Thursday.
Advanced tickets are on sale now and cost just £5 adult, £1 concessions. They are available at bcfc.co.uk, 0871 666 22 22 and in person from Ashton Gate. Parking will also be available on the night priced at just £2 per car.
