Youll be kicking yourself if you miss the Justin Lee Collins FREE Womens World Cup Football Party
Filton College, Bristol Academy Women’s Football Club and the FAWSL invite you to a Live Screening of the Women’s World Cup Round 2 England Match on Friday 1st July 2011 at Filton College’s WISE Campus, Stoke Gifford, Bristol.
The live screening, in partnership with the FAWSL, will be hosted by former Filton College student Justin Lee Collins. This free event commences at 3.30pm and is open to all on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and will include a funfair and free barbeque with the event culminating in a screening of the Women’s World Cup Match between England and New Zealand which kicks-off at 5.15pm.
Players from the Bristol Academy Women’s Football Club (BAWFC) will join Justin Lee Collins live on stage for an entertaining display and interviews before the live screening.
The party is a superb opportunity for guests to see how Filton College and the College-based Bristol Academy Women’s Football Club work together to provide not just excellent quality football, but great, entertaining events. BAWFC is one of the eight teams competing in the new FA Women’s Super League. The club has also qualified for the UEFA Champions League in the 2011/12 season.
You can meet BAWFC players throughout the day and it is a great opportunity for new female football fans to get behind the team for the second half of the season. The FA WSL returns on Friday 22nd July when BAWFC play Lincoln at home K0 7.15pm,. This is swiftly followed by the highly anticipated match between BAWFC and league leaders Birmingham which will be screened live by ESPN on Wednesday 27th July. The action starts on ESPN at 7.15pm.
